CCS/CCSTUDIO-MSP: Can't See Tools menu

I am trying to run the uart-logging TIRTOS example for the red MSP432 board.

The readme says that I should go into the CCS Tools menu and select RTOS Analyzer->Execution Analysis. I don't have a tools menu in my CCS install.

Do I need to install something else?

Keith,

The Tools menu is only present in the CCS Debug Perspective. It is not present in the CCS Edit or Simple Perspectives.

Are you in the CCS Debug perspective? This one opens by default when you launch the debugger.

I saw no difference in the menus between debug and non-debug. However, I was in "simple" mode. I will try toggling out of that and trying again.

Great. The simple view is easy to navigate but it does hide a lot of features.
