CCS/TM4C129ENCPDT: Stack Usage window soon freezes CCS7

I believe I can reproduce this. Are you using an example from an SDK? Does the project use TI-RTOS?

i'm not using any OS, i'm using tivaware and some other stuff. i don't remember if i started this project from scratch or if it was from an example.
i'm also noticing that when i fill up the stack and i look at it, it always says 808 bytes used (100%), regardless of whether i have the stack set to 128 bytes or higher.

here is some more info and how i'm "working around it for now":
if i need to see the "stack usage" window (i pause debugging) and invoke the window. then CCS freezes for about 1 to 2 minutes and i just wait. when the window shows up I can explore it.
then i close the window, ccs freezes again and I wait another 1 to 2 minutes, and everything returns to normal.
the trick is to close the window after you're done looking at it, just annoying having to wait for so long....

also i tried changing the theme to 'classic' and it did not make a difference.
