CCS/CCSTUDIO: CCS v7.3.0.201708221200 Updates keep failing!

I am running CCS v7.3.0.201708221200 on Windows 7, and have attempted several times to apply updates, but keep getting the following error:

An error occurred while uninstalling
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Uninstall, operand=[R]com.ti.dvt.analysis.traceviewer 4.1.0.201705251038 --> null, action=com.ti.ccstudio.p2.actions.RunCommandAction).
Command failed.

The updates shown are:

ARM Compiler Tools 16.9.6
MSP430 Compiler Tools 16.9.6

You seem to be hitting the same issue as mentioned in this thread.

We are investigating this and will post to that thread and this one when we have an update.
