CCS: Windows not found the driver when making USB connection of eZdsp TMS320F28335

Dear all,

 

I meet one problem when I make USB connection of eZdsp TMS320F28335. Indeed, the windows don’t find his drive in the CD.

 

  1. I install properly CCS3.3 from the given CD (in the package),

  2. I install eZdsp 28335 drivers and target content also from the CD.

 

When I want to make USB connection of eZdsp TMS320F28335 and I tried to install manually his drivers (As indicated in the step 4 and 5 in your Quick start manual) I receive a reply that

 

Windows not found the driver

For your information: windows 10, 64 bit

 

Please note that no error appear when installing CCS3.3 and eZdsp 28335 drivers and target content (from the CD).

    Hi Mohamed,
    Please note that CCSv3.3 is not supported on Windows 10. The last version it officially supported was Windows XP. While some people have gotten it to work anyway on Windows Vista and Windows 7, the success rate on Windows 10 is much lower. Also note that it is very very likely that the drivers from the original CD are 32-bit and you would need 64-bit drivers from Spectrum Digital.

    Because of all these compatibility issues, I would strongly suggest moving to a more recent version of CCS. If you must use that old version, then i would recommend using a Windows XP-32 machine (native or VM).

    I want to make the configuration with matlab Simulink and I need to install Flash API file of 28335.  I search on TI website and each time I found "controlsuite".

    I must install controlsuite after that copy the library from the installation of "controlsuite" and paste under CSS3.3?

    Please advise if you have  any suggestion.

    Yes it comes with controlSUITE now. It is in .\controlSUITE\libs\utilities\flash_api\2833x\28335

    As for how to use it, please post a new thread in the C2000 forum. The experts there can help you best.
