CCS/MSP-FET430UIF: Cannot locate driverx.exe

Hi Team,

We can not uninstall Driverx for MSPFET430IF. The message is driverx.exe is needed and I was not able to locate this file.
Could you please advise on the location of the fie?

We have verified previous discussions and none of the presented troubleshooting options worked ( reinstall CCS or MSP430 drivers)

Hello Bogdan,

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with DriverX. I'm assuming that you're using a PC, so can you please describe the operating system and version?
The supported operating systems for the MSP-FET430UIF includes OS X, Linux, and Windows, but not OS X El Capitan. Assuming you're using Windows, have you tried reinstalling the latest CCS version using Administrator rights?

Please keep in mind that the MSP-FET430UIF is no longer recommended for new designs. While it's still supported, moving forward, we're focused on the newer (recommended) MSP-FET.

Hi James,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
We have been able to fix the issue by installing MSP430 Drivers from software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html and then removing using the uninstallers.
