CCS: Can't download a compiler from the "Install New Software" part of CCS

I am trying to download the ARM Compiler Tools v17.6 because of a project that I am trying to import needing it. But whenever I try to download I get this error:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed
session context was:(profile=epp.package.cpp, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
Unable to read repository at downloads.ti.com/.../com.ti.msp.debug_probe_root.win32.win32.x86_7.4.0.
Connection reset
Unable to read repository at downloads.ti.com/.../com.ti.msp432.flash_files_root.win32.win32.x86_7.4.0.
Connection reset

What is happening and how can I fix this issue?

Nathan,

Did you select only the ARM Compiler v17.6.0 to install or some other updates as well?

Could you try the steps mentioned under item #5 at this link and let us know if that helps?

I am only trying to install ARM Compiler v17.6.0. I tried the steps under item#5 and I am getting the same error.

Are you using CCS v7.3? Did you install this version of CCS as a fresh install or update to it from an earlier version?

Could you please zip up the contents of the ccsv7/install_logs folder and post it here for us to look at?

Nathan,

Have you been able to get past this issue? If not please provide us the install logs and we can help you out.

Another quick alternative may be to install a full download of 7.3 to a fresh new directory (or delete the current installation completely and reinstall to the same directory), and then try the updates.
