Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I want to run a code without the actual hardware, just using a simulator on Code Composer Studio. There is a forum explaining it to the earlier versions but for the latest versions the are many more options that it was not possible for me to find the simulator. My actual version is ccsv7.3.
