XDS100v2 under CCS 4.1.3 error connecting

Recently we bought a Blackhawk XDS100v2 emulator and installed latest version of CCS 4.1.3 according wiki instructions. We have our own custom board with C549 dsp but when i try to connect i get the following error.

The drivers are ok in the control panel(shows TI XDS100 channel A/B, VID/PID and name are correct), firmware updates are running without problems, but BHdetect does not find the emulator, also SDconfig. I think i've tried almost everything, checked pinouts many times too, but i may miss something...

I am beginning to discourage, so if some one has any idea where the problems can be?

Any idea decoding the error code?

At least there is alphabetic expression of the error...

Hi,

The emulator is not detecting the target. This maybe possible due to some fault in the schematic or fault in the emulator. The JTAG chain is not getting detected, which could be due to a problem in emulator or problem in board.

Have you checked the JTAG signals are proper? TDI, TDO, TRST and mainly GND and power supply connections to the JTAG emulator must be proper. Do you have another board with which you can check emulator connection? This can help to isolate whether the problem is in emulator or board.

No, i don't have other board that is compatible with xds100. That i was also thinking but...

After several times executed the same command line appears this output from dbgjtag:

I will try to see signals with the osciloscope.

It appears that the emulator signals are ok. It seems that something had gone wrong with the dsp...

The problem is solved!

I haven't connected the T_DIS pin(pin 4 of the header) of the emulator to GND, i saw it from the xds100 schematic.
