CCS: CCS 7.4.0.00015 doesn't install on Linux Ubuntu

I was able to install CCSv7.4.0 on my Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS laptop, so it should be possible. I suspect you are missing some dependency. One thing to check is if you have libxss1 on your machine. If not, try;

apt-get update
apt-get install libxss1

and see if this helps resolve the issue.

If not, please provide the installation logs.

One more thing - note that we will be dropping support for Ubuntu 12 starting with the next CCS release (CCSv8.0).

And one more (final) thing - when running CCS, there may be issues displaying content in the Getting Started view, App Center view and Resource Explorer. In such cases. go to 'Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio' and change the browser type to "JavaFX WebKit". Apply the changes and restart CCS.
