CCS4.2 New Project Creation Problem

When I attempt to create new project using File->New->CCSProject, and I un-check the "Use default location", then navigate to an existing folder (ie Lab2/Project), then begin entering the name of my new project, I get a "A file or directory already exists at this location in the file-system." error as soon as I begin entering the projectg name. Am I doing something wrong?

Mike,

Lab2/Project sounds like it is already an existing CCS project folder. Is that correct? You can confirm this by looking inside the folder and see if you see any of the files mentioned here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv4#Q:_Which_project_files_do_I_need_to_check_into_source_control.3F

Ki,

No, it is just an empty folder in which you create a new project. This is part of the C6748 DSP/BIOS Workshop where the instructor has pre-configured several empty folders in which you create new projects.

Yes, I see this issue. It doesn't even matter if there is a folder of the same name or not (you get it the second you press any letter).
