CCS/TMS320C6748: CCS 5.1 Debugging issue

Hi,

I have developed the codes (Convolution, Correlation, Filters) for TMS320C5416 and TMS320C6748 using CCS3.3. All the codes are working well. But, CCS3.3 is not getting installed in Windows10 Operating Systems. So, I switched to CCS 5.1. The codes developed for TMS320C5416 are working well in the CCS5.1. But some of the codings of TMS320C6748 is not giving the proper output. I am using XDS100 USB emulator. Even the .out file generated in CCS3.3 is also not working while debugging via CCS5.1 environment. What are the contents of .out file? How it affects the results?

I want to know that, what are the changes to be made in the GEL file to get the output in the CCSv5 environment, where the .out file is already generated in CCS3.3.

To minimize the differences, make sure you use the same working GEL file from CCSv3.3 with CCSv5.

Also, please provide more details on the issue as requested in my prior post.

Thanks for the Reply. I used the the same GEL file used in the CCS 3.3. Once the GEL file is loaded, we have to Right click on the Project Explorer and click Refresh. Now, the .out file generated in CCS3.3 is working well while downloading via CCS 5.
