LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Problem with connecting to F2837xD from inside a vm

Dear all,

I am facing the following problem:

1) I run a laptop with windows 7. Inside I have a vm running win 7 also. The software inside the vm is matlab2017b and CCS 7.3.0.

When i connect the usb cable of the F2837xD I get an error, and as I result I can not download the code from simulink. (from outside the vm i can connect and build-run the code with no problems).

When I try the same procedure with an MSP320 I can download the program with no problems.

Has anyone been able to connect to a  F2837xD from inside a vm? I yes please help.
