Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I am working on a project (using the TMS320C6424 Fixed Point DSP - 600MHz) and we are developing a new board.
I am trying to get the DSP code downloaded using Code Composer Studio and I can't find access to the VERSION 3.3
Code composer studio where the Board DSP code has been developed on earlier boards. I am using the same board hardware
and we just need a way to get the code downloaded to the board. I have a new Spectrum Digital XDS200 EMulator POD
and even if I could get the older code composer studio, I am not sure that the NEWER Emulator POD would work
with the old Code Composer studio. When I download CCS free version 7.2, the newer emulator POD works, but the older
project (Created for downloading the DSP CODE, to the Boards via a JTAG HEADER) has some file hangups maybe like
it was compiled using an older version compiler and the newer compiler in CCS Version 7.2 won't work right.
Bottom line - is it possible to download the older version 3.3 of CCS and configure it to work with the newer version XDS200
Emulator POD.??? JUST NEED SOME HELP/DIRECTION PLEASE!!!!
