HI guys

I wanna ask some question about the CCS V5.4 . When I compiler my project and the window show me a problem . What should i do?

    Hi,

    Thanks for sending the Control Panel screenshot. Unfortunately I can't pinpoint the exact root cause for the problem, given the error you are seeing is usually caused by a malfunction in the Windows Drivers (which would have been shown in the first screenshot).

    You mentioned you are using CCSv5.4, but can you check if updating your copy of CCS can improve this scenario? Go to menu "Help" --> "Check for Updates" and see if there is a newer version of the item "Spectrum Digital Emulation Updates" that you could install. Maybe this can correct any problems.

    One last resort is to try and remove the device driver and force Windows to reinstall it.
    - From the Control Panel --> Device manager, right click on the entry "Spectrum Digital TMS320C6713 DSK" and select "Uninstall"
    - Check the box "Delete the driver software for this device" and click OK.
    - Unplug and re-plug the board
    - Right-click on the entry "TMS320C6713 DSK" and select "Update Driver Software"
    - In the next screen, select "Browse my computer for driver software" and browse to the directory below:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\SpectrumDigital\Emulation\Drivers\amd64
    - Click Next. The device drivers should install successfully

    Retry to connect. If somehow the drivers had a glitch, this may help solving this.

    If nothing works, I would try to connect using a more recent version of CCS. Unfortunately this version of CCS is rather old and not supported anymore, therefore can you try to install a newer version of CCS (7.4) in a separate directory and retry the connection? Multiple versions of CCS can coexist in the same PC.
