Hi all,

I am experiencing similar issues with CCS 7.4.0 for Mac OS. I installed everything new (since I had not yet installed any previous versions or projects) and tried to run the LED blink sample code for the TMS320F28335 on the Delfino C2000 experimenter kit. In the end, I got the program to run on the F28335, but running the Debugging probe via either XDS100v1 or XDS100v2 took very very very long: approximately 20 minutes (for just running the example code). During this, the interface was buggy/laggy/not responding at all. Buttons like 'Run in Background' etc were not working at all. Especially the 'GEL Expression: OnReset(0)', 'GEL Expression: OnTargetConnect', and in the end the 'Loading Program' took very long.

If there are any ideas to speed this up, would be very helpful. I am now trying to install CCS v6, to see if it is CCS version specific, or has to do with any USB drivers, or has to do with the experimenter kit itself.

Under version 6.2.0 of CCS I see no improvement. Any suggestions would be very welcome! Appreciate it a lot :)

Does disabling the indexer also alleviate the issue for you?

Hi Ki-Soo, thanks for your reply. I immediately tried with indexer disabled, but to no luck. Still the same performance (approx 12 minutes after Run->Debug the program (already built) is loaded on the TMS320F28335).

I monitored the CPU usage, but that seems fine: always between 10 and 20%. During a few minutes, the interface was frozen, using 1% of CPU (with the notion of Mac OS that Code Composer Studio was not responding).

I'd like to try running the same example. Is it the timed LED blink example from C2000Ware?
