You will need Matlab R2017b if you are using CCSv7.4 processors.wiki.ti.com/.../MatLab_and_CCS

A quick bit of clarification - I'm pretty sure we have tested with CCS through version 7.2 with our R2017b release.

CCS v7.3 & 7.4 came out in Sep & Dec 2017, which is after MathWorks Release R2017b (Sep 2017). We will likely test support for this and if needed, make any fixes in our upcoming R2018a Release.

I would still expect CCS v7.3 & 7.4 to work, but if you want to be certain of compatibility (like for large scale deployment), I'd suggest using CCS 7.1 or maybe CCS 7.2. If you are tinkering at your desk, I'd say try CCS 7.4

7.2 and 7.4 share the same Eclipse platform and compilers so they are very compatible. These days we align compatibility changes with our major releases like 7.0, 8.0...
