CCS/CC3120: connecting multiple devices simultaneously to Uniflash

Part Number: CC3120
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

My ultimate objective is to connect two or more devices to my computer and be able to program them independently with Uniflash.

While trying to accomplish that, I encountered a problem that I am not sure it is a bug with Uniflash or a step that I might be missing.

Since the new version of Uniflash 4.2.2 does not allow the user to select the COM port, I changed the serial number of one of my CC3220 LP's using xdsdfu.exe. With distinct serial numbers, I can select which board I will open the session in Uniflash. The problem I have is that once I select the board, the option for the CC3220 LP vanishes from the drop down list. Here are the pictures that might make it easier to understand. In the first one you see the 12345678 board I changed the serial number and the other board with the default 00000000. Below those options you can still see the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL.

I then select either 00000000 or 12345678 boards, and the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL disappears:

Thus my original question: is this a bug or a step I missed?

Is what I am trying to do possible, e.g., select one of multiple boards connected to my computer with Uniflash?

Thank you!
