CCS/POWERSUITE: getting power suite to run on a Mac

Part Number: POWERSUITE
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE, SFRA,

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I've installed CCS v7.4 on a Mac running OS 10.13.3.  I've also downloaded and installed C2000ware and C2000ware digital power sdk.  Both show up in the resource explorer.  When I open an example project from the resource explorer the main.cfg file just shows up as a blank screen.  When I installed CCS on a windows machine I had to install the GUI composer runtime to get everything to work, but on my Mac install I don't see any option to install the gui composer runtime in the CCS app center.  Is there a way to install the GUI composer runtime on a Mac?

Also, when I try to start the compensation designer GUI and SFRA GUI nothing happens.  I don't know if this is a related issue or not.

  • Hello,
Unfortunately, the GUI Composer v1 Runtime is not supported on Mac. If Windows is an options, we recommend you use that environment to use the powerSUITE examples in question.

    Sorry for the inconvenience
