CCS/MSP-EXP430FR2433: meta data cannot be interperted

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Running Windows 7/64

Downloaded Code Composer Studio, put in C:/ti_CCS/ Code Composer Studio 7.3.0.

Downloaded MSP430Ware_3_80_03_07_setup.exe, put in C:/TI/MSP_EXP430FR2433/ MSP_EXP430FR2433_software examples/firmware/source/OutOfBox_EXP430FR2433/CCS + 6 other directories.

When I execute the CCS, and try to import the project, I get the following error;

Error: Import failed for project ‘OutOfBox_EXP430FR2433’ because its meta-data cannot be interpreted; please contact support!

Is there a file missing, corrupted, in the wrong place, etc.

I have no idea, please help.

    I can't reproduce this, the project imports without any errors for me. 

    Could you show a screenshot of what your OutOfBox_MSP430FR2433 directory looks like in Windows Explorer?
    Are you importing using the CCS menu Project->Import CCS Projects or using Resource Explorer?
    Can you try importing a few other example projects and see if the error appears for other projects too or just this one?

    If the error occurs for other projects as well, then my guess would be that either CCS or MSP430Ware did not install correctly.
