CCS/CODECOMPOSER: Resource Explorer disconnect from Cloud option

Hi,

Is there a way to make Code Composer Studio to remember the option for the Resource Explorer to be disconnected from the Cloud? It does not remember that selection when CCS is restarted or when switching workspace.

    Unfortunately it does not remember that setting. I tried the CCSv8 beta and it is the same

    Are you disconnecting from the cloud so that it shows you specific versions of software? If so there is a way to do that so that it is always picking up your local copy.

    If you click on the home button in Resource Explorer. Then scroll down in the main panel, you will see tiles for each software package. You can change the dropdown selection in each tile to be a specific version instead of "latest".

    Hi John,
    I'm disconnecting from the cloud because it is taking a few minutes for the Resource Explorer to start. Sometimes, it does not even start up. I also just want to see the specific SDK package that I have downloaded.
    Selecting the specific versions of all the software packages available does make it startup faster.
