CCS/RM46L852: Cannot install CCS 6.2 on Mac OS 10.12.6

Attempting to install either the web or offline installers does not seem to work on my Mac.

The installer errors out with:

An error occured : Installer failed to install org.eclipse.platform.ide,org.eclipse.help.feature.group,org.eclipse.equinox.p2.discovery.feature.feature.group,org.eclipse.equinox.p2.user.ui.feature.group,org.eclipse.cdt.feature.group,org.eclipse.cdt.debug.ui.memory.feature.group,org.eclipse.tm.terminal.feature.feature.group,org.eclipse.epp.mpc.feature.group,org.eclipse.egit.feature.group,org.eclipse.cdt.build.crossgcc.feature.group,org.eclipse.rse.feature.group,org.eclipse.cdt.launch.remote.feature.group,org.eclipse.gef.feature.group,gnu.io.rxtx.feature.group correctly.
Please submit these logs to TI for analysis using the next dialog.

    Hi Shaun,

    The log you posted is for the web installer. It's unable to download files from the server.

    Could you please try the offline installer and post the logs here, so we can tell you why the offline installer isn't working?

    With the downloaded installer, I get:

    Hi Shaun,

    This log is showing that you're trying to install the web installer. Could you please try the offline installer from here, unzip the complete package and try the install again:

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS#Code_Composer_Studio_Version_6_Downloads 

    Please note, you may need to run the following command as Sierra Gatekeeper will quarantine any application not downloaded from the App Store

    xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine ccs_setup_6.2.0.00050.app
