Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler
Hello,
since upgrading to Ubuntu 17.10 the ti installers don't terminate when run in unattended mode.
Call:
ti_cgt_c6000_8.1.4_linux_installer_x86.bin --prefix your/path/ --mode unattended
Result: installation complete but program does not terminate.
Same issue with ti_cgt_tms470_17.9.0.STS_linux_installer_x86.bin
Will this be fixed?
Best regards,
Lo
This is a known incompatibility between Linux install packages from TI and glibc versions 2.25 and higher. The SDOWP ID is CCSIDE-2910. You can look it up with the SDOWP link below in my signature.

Yes. I don't know when, or which versions, will have the fix. I'm trying to find that out. I hope to get back to you soon.
Thanks and regards,
-George
The top-level issue was tracked as CCDSK-2910. It looks like all affected installers have been fixed. CCS was tracking this issue, you can post on their forum with any further questions.
