Compiler/TMS320C6678: CGT v7.4.x obsolete?

Hi,

I'm currently using CGT 7.4.23, but I see v7.4.x is no longer referenced in compiler download page (/www.ti.com/tools-software/compilers/download.html).

Last recommendation was to keep using v7 for new and existing general purpose C6000-based application.

Since I don't use MCSDK, OpenPM and so on, now You recommend to stay on v7 or it is time to plan migration to v8 main stream line?

    The version 7.4.x releases recently changed status to reactive.  This means, unless unusual circumstances occur, bugs are no longer fixed and no further releases are planned.  It is time to migrate to the current release stream, which is 8.2.x.
