CCS/TMS320F28035: ERROR DURING DEBUGGING

              I re-installed CCS 4 and tried connecting my board. When I gave connect target, it showed the following error

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1135 @ 0x0)
The emulator reported an error. Confirm emulator configuration and connections, reset the emulator, and retry the operation.
(Release 5.0.429.0)

Is there a reason you are using CCSv4? It is a very old version and no longer supported. I would recommend using a newer version, preferably the latest CCSv7.4 if possible.

Regardless of the CCS version though, this error usually occurs due to hardware or firmware problems, so I would recommend carefully reading all the discussions referenced in the link I sent earlier to help you identify the root cause.

I am going through the document and following the steps given. Can You pls suggest me the best ccs version for xds100 or the one that supports xds100? Because in the quick start guide that came along with the evaluation board, it has been told to install 32KB limited version of CCS v4. I just want to know if XDS100 will work on any CCS version and any OS (mine is windows 10, but I am currently working on windows xp with ccs v4).
