Error in user manual --- compiler optimizer 187q

Hello,

In the data sheet, there is a table listing all sections generated by the compiler. .cinit section is there for both EABI and ABI.

It also says that, in the EABI mode, .cinit is generated by linker instead of compiler, which conflicts with previous table.

I agree this is not clear. For EABI, the .cinit section is generated by the linker. I will submit a request to update the document to make this more clear.

The document has not been updated yet. When it is, it will be in an updated revision of the Compiler Users Guide but at this time I do not know when the next update of the doc can be expected. You can check the status of the enhancement request using the SDOWP link in my signature.
