CCS: Error in installation of vayu simulator in CCS 5.4

Hi,

While installing Vayu installer in CCS 5.4 in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, I face error pop-ups which inform that 'error in installation'.

As per the suggestion given in one of the pop-ups, I zipped the log and attached.

Help me in resolving this issue asap.

Can you please check the contents of /home/vasanthaangappan/ti/ccsv5/eclipse/downloads/? What files are available there?

Hi,

The contents in the ..eclipse/downloads folder are ccs_update_5.4.0.00091.bin.bk and com.ti.vayu_ccs.simulator.linux_manifest.xml.bk files.

Could you please try the following:

1. Download the file attached. Change the extension from .txt to .bin

2. Run it from the command line with the following parameters:

"ti_simpack_vayu_ccs_0.6.2.0_setup.bin" --mode silent --prefix "/home/vasanthaangappan/ti/ccsv5"
