CCS: Obtaining CCS 4.2.5 full install...

Hi guys,

I would like to know how to obtain CCS 4.2.5 full install, not the update, as that does not work for some strange reason.

    Hi,

    To date there is no CCSv4.2.5 full install available. I am still checking why this is the case, but keep in mind this is not supported anymore and therefore this might never change.

    If you don't mind me asking, is there a strong reason as to why you are interested in running this particular version?

    The reason is that this patch only makes a difference for certain microcontrollers, which are well supported by the newer versions CCSv5.x and newer.

    Also, CCSv4 versions do not officially support Windows 7/64 and therefore I wonder if the update issues you are facing do not install due to this support.

    Hi,

    I was able to find the CCSv4.2.5 installer and posted on the CCS Downloads page. Please check it there.

    Just be mindful of the details I pointed out above regarding compatibility.
