Referring to the thread:

CCS/TMS320F28377D: FIXED: libc:i386 is not available for Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 64-bit

as well as the instructions on:

software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccsv8_linux_host_support.html

In my case the instruction:

sudo apt install libc6:i386

should be:

sudo apt install libc6-i386
