CCS/MSP430G2553: Cannot install compiler 15.xx.x in CCS7

Part Number: MSP430G2553

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Trying to install older compiler in CCS v7 such as 15.12.4 install says "will be ignored because a newer version is already installed". I need the old version to support an older product.
