Hi, Im trying to program the TMS570LS0432 using the XDS110 Debugger, Ive got CCS V8.0.0 and have the debug probe connected to my computer via the USB however when trying to connect to target I get the following error:

Hello,
This is type of Host Connection error (connectivity issue between your computer and the debug probe). Please see the below link for more details:

Hi, thanks for the link. I've tried updating the firmware but I cant seem to do it, could this be because I'm using a Mac OS. When using the device on windows it connects to the target fine but says it cannot access the device registers, do you know what would be the cause of this error (below)?

Are you using a standalone XDS110 pod with a custom TMS570LS0432 board?

Ive checked that link and believe I have followed all the steps but nothing has worked so far, I am using the standalone XDS110 Pod with custom TMS570LS0432 board.

This issue has been resolved, the ribbon cable shipped with the JTAG debugger contains a faulty connection and therefore the scan path was broken.
