Can someone help me with, I need the componser studio code script to display GPS latitude and longitude data

Hi,

can you please provide more details on your application and what you want to achieve? Do you mean example code for the MSP430G2253 when you say "script"?
Where do you want to display it? Terminal? LCD?

Hi,

Yes, I need develop a system that allows to read the data sent by a GPS module to the microcontroller MSP430G2553 AND On a 16x2 LCD the latitude and longitude value of the GPS should be visualized.

That means I need the code in Code Composer Studio because I have not managed to develop it

Hi,

I suggest you get started with the MSP430FR4133 rather than the MSP430G2553. The MSP430FR4133 has an integrated LCD controller, enough memory and communication modules to interface sensors (such as your GPS sensor). Texas Instruments offer's a launchpad MSP-EXP430FR4133 along with software examples to get started quickly.

Basically what you want to do is,
1. read data from GPS
2. compute/process GPS data
3. output result on LCD

Easy programming can be done via "Energia" energia.nu/.../ There you can find hardware description and code examples.
