Erasing SPI EEPROM using code composer studio ??

Hi,


I would like to know if it is possible to erase an 512kbit SPI EEPROM using Code Composer Studio v3 or/and any of the utilities provided by TI such HEX55.exe or other utilities for flashing devices ? If not can anybody recommend a flashing utility that simply programms/erases and verifies for instance ??
