CCS/TMS320F28027: Cannot install CCS V8, even offline version

I've seen several threads discussing the CCS issue with online installation when a virus checker is enabled.  Most people seem to have succeeded by turning off their virus protection software temporarily.

My company runs Windows 10.  I'm not allowed to turn off the real-time virus checker, so I thought I'd try the offline installation for CCS V8.

I downloaded the zip file and uncompressed everything into a temporary folder.  Then I ran the "ccs_setup_8.0.0.00016.exe" set-up program.

The installation failed in the exact same way as the online version, telling me that it could not install because a virus checker was running.  But I thought the whole purpose of downloading the 800+ MB file was to avoid this problem.

Is there simply no way to install this version without disabling the virus checker?
