CCS/CC1310: CCSv8.0 cannot be installed successfully

Hello Champs,

Customer has tried to install CCSv8.0 and already closed all anti-virus applications, but there was still below error during the installation process:

  • Did the customer try the install with the web installer or offline installer? If it was the web installer, please have them try the offline installer. If the error still persists with offline installer, please have them zip up the c:/ti/ccsv8/install_logs directory and attach it here for us to look at.

    I received the logs from Aarti. They show the installer's unable to unzip files on the user's machine. Could you tell me what kind of anti-virus they have running? Please verify that the anti-virus file scanner is turned off, it could be holding the zip file open which would cause the unzip to fail.

    Also, can you confirm they have enough disk space?
