Error 0x80002240/-151 Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS, Control

Hi,

Can somebody tell me why these errors occur and how to fix them?

Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80002240/-151 Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS, Control, This error was generated by TI's USCIF driver.

SC_ERR_POD_OPEN <-151> This utility failed to open the adapter for a custom emulator. The adapter returned an error.

the borad had already worked and was conected to target well, I start to get this error after physically move the board and bring it back,

I tried the solution I saw in the suport forum of TI , witout any success

I checked also that the HW connection (USB and power) are ok.

It may be helpful to supply some more information, like the name of the DSP, the nature of the board (EVM or custom), the JTAG pod (or on-board emulator), the version of CCS.

What was the nature of this physical moving of the board? If something was damaged in the movement, that would be pretty tough to debug here, but we may be able to provide pointers.

What was the solution you found that did not work? A link to that posting might help us understand your procedures.

Do you have an alternate board to try?

Normally, our first suggestion would be to verify you have the latest emulation drivers, but if it was working and you made no changes to the PC installation, that is unlikely to be the problem. If you did make any changes, please itemize those.

I will move this to the Code Composer Studio forum since it is asking about emulation. You will be more likely to get to the right people there.

Not sure if anyone is still watching this thread. If you are using an XDS100 emulator or a board with an XDS100 emulator built onto it this is likely an issue with the EEPROM not being properly programmed on the FTDI chip on the XDS100.
