CCS/CCSTUDIO: Is it possible to use CCS 2.21 binairies with CCS6.2

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to use binaries generated with CCS 2.21 and program them on our target (DSP TMS320C62x) with CCS 6.2?
Our programming station is under Windows XP with a BlackHawk v2 probe and uses CCS 6.2.
We no longer have the ability to return to CCS 2.21.
If yes, how ? What are the options to enable / disable?
We would not want to regenerate these binaries because they are part of the definition of our product.

Hello David,
Do you have the generated executable (*.out) files? Or just raw binary files that was generated from the *.out files?

Also, are you looking to load the program to RAM or flash?

We have .out files and we want to load the program into flash.

Current version of CCS still supports the *.out file format generated from CCSv2. The issue is programming it to flash. The built in flash programmer does not support the programming of external flash on C62x. You will need to use a third party software like Flashburn:
