CCS: Security Vulnerabilities

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am adding CCS to a network.   The admins want a statement regarding CCS security vulnerabilities.   1) Does TI have a produce security team that manages and disseminates security vulnerabilities 2) are there any published security vulnerabilities for CCS

    The answer to both 1 and 2 in the context of CCS is no. We don't have a separate security team that accesses security vulnerabilities in CCS. During the development and release of CCS it is scanned and analyzed by our security software. For the online tools that we provide the story is different in that there is a team responsible for managing security vulnerabilities.

    If we are talking about CCS desktop here installed on a network it is not typically something where we have questions on security vulnerabilities. Typically each instance of CCS will be running as a normal user and not admin/sudo.

    Yes it is scanned by Anti virus software prior to release.
