I have a XDS510USB PLUS Emulator and installed the CCS softwar/drivers. I want to program a flash over a JTAG device with the flash470 tool. Before I used a XDS510 PP. To programm with USB is faster, but to build the connection to the USB/JTAG device need much more time as the PP Emulator. In the end to program with USB is slower as with PP. I start the flash470.exe from command line (from a .cmd)
How can I reduce the connection time. Is it possible to leave the emulation connection open and allow a disconnect and connect to the targets.
The first connection needs much more time because the USB do an emumeration process. That is normal for the first access after power of XDS510USB.
