CCS/CCSTUDIO: CCS 7.3 (latest) hanging every couple days.

Hi

my problem is that if Indexer is starting the complete IDE hangs and i have to restart the IDE. As suggested in previous posts (IDE v 7.3) switching off the indexer is some workaround, i did not find the button to switch of the indexer in CCS8.

    Hi Martin,

    The indexer option is the same in CCSV8. The key thing to check is that you enabled showing the advanced settings (option in the lower left corner of the Preferences dialog)

    Also note that some IDE performance issues were fixed in CCSv8.1. I'm not sure if those fixes apply to your issue but it is certainly worth a try.

    thanks for pointing me to the "Hide advanced settings" now i am able to disable the indexer
