CCS: No print on console window in CCS6 with GNU compiler(CortexA15)

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

We are not able to view the print statements on to Console.

EVM : TDA2x

Processor Selected : Cortex A15

CCS : v6.0

Compiler : GNU

Also we are not able to view console window with name <config.ccxml>:CIO during run time.

In Project Properties->Debug->Program/Memory Load Options ->"Enable CIO function use" option is set

Any suggestion would be appreciated

Hi Nagananda,
Did you already refer to the links that Chester and myself provided in the other thread? The ones regarding general tips when using printf and enabling semi-hosting? Did the information in those links not help?

Please provide a simple, but reproducible, test case. Please provide the executable and also the source and makefile you used to build it.

Nagananda,
The main.c file in the zip does not appear to be the same one used to build the executable. Can you provide the correct main.c?

That zip is missing the compiled executable. Please make sure both the generated *.out and the main.c file used to build it are both in the zip

Cleaned version of ccs project was shared earlier.

Please find again the updated package as requested TI_Printf_Issue.zip

The cfg file in your example seems to be missing the required semihosting support that was mentioned by Chester in the other thread.
