CCS/TMS320F28335: How to locate the Adc Buffer in memory window

Hello Sir,

I am a beginner and using TMS320F28335 with CCS v6. I am trying to run the ADC_Soc example. It was successfully debugged and run, But I am unable to find the Memory Window. I found Memory Browser instead, But in memory browser, I am unable to locate address label Adc_Buf .

Please Help me out.

Hello,
"Memory Window" was something that existed with old old version of CCS (CCSv3 and earlier). The equivalent feature in CCSv4 and onwards is the "Memory Browser", which you did find.

In the Memory Browser, you should be able to enter in the label preceded by an ampersand. For example: &Adc_Buf.

I have gone through the same process but, Its showing a lot of data.
as described in software-dl.ti.com/.../C28x_Delfino_MDW_8-1.pdf (Page 103), I am unable to find the exact data in &Adc_Buf.

Please provide a screenshot.

Also note that you mention "Adc_Buf" but the document refers to "AdcBuf"

I am attaching the 3 screenshots herewith. A common question for all three is, Why it is showing many data (48 samples)?

Next, While connecting to 3V3 it's perfectly Ok. While connecting to GND, there is a positive offset. But my question is, While I am connecting to GPIO18, it's toggling, but the offset here is more. What could be the probable reasons?

I see that &AdcBuf works for you in the memory browser view.

typing &AdcBuf in the memory browser view will simply open the view at the start address of AdcBuf. It will then continue to show additional memory contents after that address. It looks grouped together because the next symbol is GPIO34_count.
