The issue is that we do not recommend or support such an old version. Even CCSv3.3 is better. But I will see if I can request a copy of CCS v2.2 for you. When I get more information, I will reply to your private message

I don't think so. I didn't find any link and free license for CCS 2.2. Maybe you can ask TI to give this version free license but as I can understand this is not the matter of TI policy that this version free license is not released. I think it's too old so that TI doesn't like to release more support for this while higher versions are available.
