CCS/MSP430F5529: CCS version 7.3.0. Shutting down with no error message.

The command in the previous post was for the standard windows command prompt. If you want to run it in powershell, please modify the command to:

./ccstudio.exe -debug - console

Also, do you have any unicode characters in your install path or workspace path (if you were able to specify a workspace)? Does your Windows username have unicode characters?

I confronted unicode issue when i tried to install it. So I decieded to put the files in "C:\ti\ccsv8". ( it think this is install path)
And when i entered the ccs and confronting this "Select a directory as workspace" selection, i do choose no-korean named path like "C:\ti"

my user name was "김양곤" so, I tried to change the user name "kimyanggon" by these instruction.

But even after i did it, the program (ccs) does not open still, it exits as soon as it opens.

and these problem also happend. some strange username has been created....
in that, there are ti folder..... what is this?

Can you run CCS with the following command:

./ccstudio.exe -debug - console

and provide the output in the console? You can copy and paste to a text file and attach the file to this thread.

As for t he strange user name, it is indeed strange. Those folder should be under the "kimyanggon" username you created. Are you indeed logging in under that username? What does the contents inside the "kimyanggon" folder?
