CCS: Where are the project codes examples in CCSv8?

I have been working with CCSv6 but now that the BLE stack is upgraded I need to use one of the latest features available only in CCSv8. So I migrated to the newest version.

However, I can't find the project code examples, the only ones I can find are these:

I already installed the latest BLE stack version but can't find the "Simplelink" academy directory (as it was before back to version 6> Import project, compile and debug...), either the way, I've searched everywhere and can't find the BLE example projects!.... I've broken my head looking for it. so I needed to request your help.

Jeong,

I recommend that you move to the newer devices, the CC2640R2F, this device is part of the Simplelink family and the software support for this device is much superior. I suggest the LaunchPAD.

Thank you very much for your answer,

I apologize for not explaining myself properly, I'm looking specifically for the sample projects for the Sensor Tag, Heart Rate monitor, not only the "simple_..." or the project zero.

Acquiring the newer version for the launchpad as you sugested will "unlock" the use of those project sample codes?

Hi Jeong Kim,

Instal the BLE Stack 2.2.2 . www.ti.com/.../BLE-STACK

You can find what you are looking for in the examples folder.

Hello, thank you for your response. In fact, I had the BLE in the version 2.2.2 already... but won't show up in the program.

I had to wipe everything and make a fresh installation again. This as a suggestion to the developing team: the error messages for CCS are totally vague, you cannot infer what are really the errors from the output. Now I have problems compiling and again the output doesn't help to figure out what is really going on there, this is really frustrating and time-consuming!.... :/

Hi Jeong Kim,

You need ARM Compiler 5.2.6 to compile BLE Stack example programs for CC2650.
