Debugging using CCS V4

Hi All,

I am using LM3S9B96 for my project. I am developing the code using command line options. As I am new to CCS I want to know how could I debug the code when I do a build using command line.

In MPLAB and VisualDSP++ the IDE allows me to import/load the image file so that I can debug it i.e. put breakpoints, single step etc.

Can anyone please let me know how we could do similar thing using CCS V4.

This is not a compiler question. But I think I can get you pointed the correct direction. First you need to tell CCS the configuration of the target. Then you launch it. Details on these steps are here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GSG:Debugging_projects .

Then you will be able to use the menu selection Target -> Load Program.
