CCS: Format of Editor

Hi,

I have not adjusted the format of editor in CCSv7 but the "Tab" become four space not a tab.

How can I solve the problem?

I prefer the format of a tab not four space and I have change the setting at my first time using CCSv7.

I can not find the path of the setting in this moment.

Please give me a hand.

Hello!

Check Window/Preferences/General/Editors/Text Editors - Insert spaces for tabs.

Also please check this reference in Resource Explorer. It shows where/how to change the tab policy to be tabs or spaces, and also specify the tab size or indentation size.

This is the setting.

I did not check the item, Insert space for tabs, but it still insert the space.

Are there anything wrong?

Hi,

The problem has been solved. Thanks a lot.
What is the reason for the change without any edit to the setting?
The tab was tab only before, and I did not make any change to the setting and the tab become 4 space.

Glad to hear that the issue is solved.

I don't believe any changes were made to the default CCS setting. So I'm not sure how the setting changed in your environment without you making any changes.
