CCS: Error connecting to the target

If I try to connect and debug the TMS320F2808 board using XDS510LC(spectrum digital) getting a connection issue

"C28xx: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000202/-1135 Fatal Error during: Memory, OCS, Unrecoverable emulation error".

Please let me know a solution for the same,

Emulator IO port 0x510

Test connection result:

Execute the command:

Please help me to solve the issue, i was able to do the debug one day before and suddenly this issue started .....

Hi,

Despite being a XDS510LC from Spectrum Digital, which uses a protocol stack different than ours (TI), the error code matches what is reported in the reference below. Unfortunately there is no absolute root cause for this, but there are a few suggestions in the link.

Hi Rafael, Thanks for the information.

I did board rest sequence as well as the debugger(power reset,plug out from usb port etc.) and it started working again.

I wonder how it happened?

Dheeraj,

I can't tell for sure, since these glitches are very hard to find the exact root cause.

If your board is part of a larger high power system, I would be careful about any possible ground loops or voltage spikes that may cause JTAG connectivity problems.
