Hi,

I am trying to install compiler version 18.1.2 but am getting the following message:

 

I am using CCS v7.4.

Can someone help?

    Hrishi,

    Did the compiler install? i.e. can you select it when creating a new project? I could be that is an older message that is stuck in the log.

    If the compiler did not install you can download it from here:
    www.ti.com/.../C2000-CGT-17

    If it is installed in the default location in C:\ti then CCS will automatically discover it the next time it starts up. If you install in a different location you can point CCS to the location in the preferences dialog.

    It did not install.

    I was able to download and install it from the link you provided. I wonder why it didn't work from inside CCS.
