Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi.

I've installed the Code Composer Studio Version: 6.2.0.00050 to be used With Our C55x DSP design.

Every time I try to build my sotware and run it with my emulator, it compile all the files. Even if I've not done any changes?

Isn't there a way to skip compiling og files without changes?

    Thor,

    CCSv6.2.0 is quite old. When I look at the release notes for CCSv7.0.0 I see a bug fix that may be what you are seeing in 6.2.0

    Full build always triggered for BIOS5 projects that have a post build step
    Having a post-build step with a BIOS5 project causes the *.tcf file to always be recompiled, breaking the incremental build.

    I would recommend using a newer version of CCS. CCSv8.1 is the latest. Note that with newer versions of CCS it is required to install the C55x compiler from App Center in CCS.
