CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28027: XDS100

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28027

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I'm using LAUNCHXL-F28027 and trying to code it with CCS. On my PC, I could build and debug one of the C2000 examples. But on my laptop, I cannot debug it and encounter this error:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -151 @ 0x0)
One of the FTDI driver functions used during the connect
returned bad status or an error. The cause may be one or
more of: no XDS100 is plugged in, invalid XDS100 serial number,
blank XDS100 EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable.
Use the xds100serial command-line utility in the 'common/uscif'
folder to verify the XDS100 can be located.

As I found the problem is the driver for XDS100. But, the installation steps for CCS in both machines were the same. So, I think XDS100 driver has to be installed on both machines by installing the CCS. I also installed XDS Emulation Software Package as this link suggests:

But, I still have the problem on my laptop and encounter the aforementioned error.

Best Regards,
